This kit is capable of 525 pounds of downforce at 100 psi. Typical planting conditions in clay soils requires 50-60 psi.

I use no coulters, trash cleaners or aftermarket closing components. With the offset early-riser disc openers and proper downforce you can achieve near perfect stands just by adding the ability to get the row unit to depth.
