I've spent too many years freezing my but off wearing every piece of cold weather gear I could put on.. Looked like the Michelian tire man. (You just haven't lived till spending 2-3 weeks in November in 15-20 degree weather in snow storms with a wind blowing while plowing on an open station tractor) I'll glady put up with a dinky little "post in the middle" any month of the year! And, I probably would not be nearly as tone deaf as I am either. Back "when",, I was never taught to protect my hearing, "men don't need hearing protection" was what I heard. Now,, I can't. I was always chewed out for just wearing sun glasses too, "take those damn things off so you can see what you're doing", an now that's even harder than it used to be. I do agree strickly looking at cost and time,, buying a 30 series tractor with a cab is better.
