Last sunday I checked out what was bugging my fuel tank. Followed your advice and located the vent hose. Sure enough it was clogged . Sand grime and water has clogged the little vent slots at the end of the hose. When temps went below freezing, the vent was blocked.

 I took an air gun a cleaned it up. I also removed the bottom end and blew air right through the entire hose. Put everything back together and filled her up today. NO PROBLEMS.  Thanks guys.  Cheap fix.
