Subject: RE: Kubota RTV EZ Pilot

I've done this with a few unsupported tractors. What I did was buy a replacement steering wheel, cut the hub out of it, attach it to a metal disc/hub with the holes to mount to the bottom of the EZ-Pilot. After that you just need to manufacture an anti-rotation system.

I would recommend against welding on the shaft because eventually you're going to want to trade in the RTV. It's easier to do that if you can pull your system off and put the original steering wheel back on without any visible signs of doing so. Having something welded onto the steering column may not be well received by a potential buyer or dealership taking it in on trade.
