south central WI | It common practice in most areas. Just because it's a new law doesn't mean it's a bad idea. They put the big fine so you will actually do it. Here we have to pump every 3 years. The county sends a reminder card that the pumper signs and sends back. Easy peasey. Tanks can and do fill with crap then that goes into the drain field and plugs that or that goes into the ground water. You may not have issues but your neighbors may be tossing everything down the sink. Their crap will end up in your water. | |
