East Central Saskatchewan | A dozen years ago or so I had a 64 Impala convertible for sale, this was pre Internet days. A fellow sent me $4000 in January for it, said he would pick it up in spring. He never did come for it, I never saved the envelope the certified check came in, checked with my bank but they didn't have any picture of it. He must have passed away and had never told his wife about buying it. My friend said I should run an ad in the farm paper I advertised it in saying "whoever bought this Impala convertible, please come and get it", I'd expect every gangster/scammed would be at my door like flies on roadkill. Always tell your wife even after the fact. |
