jackson county WI | I know of a organic dairy coop here that has a over production cap of 10% from the last year. The local conventional dairy here won't take new farmer but haven't heard anything on expansions.
My uncle was a cow jockey he never could understand if guy had been milking 80 cows (for some time) and wasn't making money how in the heck he could make money milking 800 cows. I always think of this when I hear of big expansion or over production. | |
