I feel you are both correct: your wife in that you should be conserving cash as you start a business and you in that buying a quality washer up front is cheaper in the long run. Can you buy the Speed Queen on a time payment plan to conserve cash now while you are starting your business? If business goes well then pay it off early. Just an idea. BTW we have had a Speed Queen set for 5 years now and It is the first washer/dryer in 45 years and 8 kids that I feel good about. Front loads rely on all sorts of seals and the "high efficiency " ones drive me nuts! A top load is a much easier design to seal. The Speed Queen gets clothes clean and quickly. It has a great system suspension for unbalanced loads. It is so simple even I can operate it. It is also made in Wisconsin. |
