From the Tee Jet catalog - page 12. Optimum spray height for 20" spacing is 30" for 80 degree tips and 20" for 110 degree tips. Remember, this is the height above your target, and if your target is weeds or crop above ground - adjust accordingly. An advantage of going with 110 degree tips is you can keep the boom closer to the target to reduce drift. Many in this area are set up with 110's at 20". This provides a good compromise between good coverage and reducing drift.
