Been feeding safe-guard in the feed for internals.....tests show great results, but the ivormax over their back has been somewhat of a joke for lice. Ran a pen back through for their RevX about 10 days ago......used a product called CleanUp. All I will say is next year I'm skipping the ivormax and going straight to CleanUp when the ralgro is given. Just thought I'd share my experience.
You probably still need to do two times-pour once at the time you use ralgro and then again on second round with something else
we use to also use a dry product-sulfur or some kind of fine ground lime dusting the cattle-think it was like a 8oz cup sprinkled on there back-interesting-we had a lot of dirt lots we always used lime spread with the loader bucket
my cattle buyer asked if we were fighting foot rot or lice? In the hog barns-hand labor straw bedding-we always spread lime on the concrete floor after hand scooping out the manure.
Here we are going to use everything to keep a nice hair coat-soyhulls seem to also help-in the feed-and I have put soyhulls down on concrete floor after clean out if the floor is really wet
diatomaceous earth comes to mind also |
