For me, Bitchin Rides and Chasing Classic cars set the standard.
Graveyard Cars (even though I don't consider myself a huge Chrysler fan) is extremely improved with some staff changes the last couple seasons. I like Legendary Cars, and i even like Counting Cars, although they get a little too blingy for me. I really like Americarna and Fantomworks is entertaining even though the owner is kind of a richard. There are some really good motorcycle build shows on, and none of them at all like OCC.
Gas Monkey never made the cut for me. Its the badly made soap opera of the car show world. I said I'd never watch it again when they butchered a real nice Challenger. But like a car wreck, I had to watch again when they got a wrecked 05 or 06 GT 40 on. When Arron put air bags on it, I couldn't even watch it to the end. These guys are the same ones I saw in high school- put a grand into Cragers and fat tires and bolt them into Moms hand me down $500 4 door Impala and claim they had a 8 second Pro Stocker now. | |
