I had a 5" but through a field 10 yrs ago with plan of systematically tiling the field later. A wheel machine did in near perfect condions. The same contractor finished the field this summer and it had cracked at the 6 o'clock postion and was so oval a tap T could not be drilled. He replaced it all and had no idea what had happened but have seen other that was 20 yes old and still perfect.
