As a producer hedging his crop, I've got some corn and beans hedged for Nov and Dec 17 to mitigate risk. However, as I've stated a handful of times, April-June is when most of my crop will be hedged because historic statistics suggest so. I'll leave some to capture later possible scenarios if I have a crop that'll allow it.
