I don't think it will go to either $6.00 or $14.00 but the difference could be big. If you are hedged and it goes to $14.00 you will be fine and will probably have a real good year next year as you will be hedging next years crop at that time. If you are not hedged and it goes to $6.00 it could break some guys. You are right that it could go either way but I think it is far less risky to be protected from the downside and not worrying about the top side so much. I also think if you are not protected some already I would not hedge any at todays prices yet. |
