I'm sure somebody in the south has success with angus, but here angus is the little sickly looking calf, a bit of a joke that a sick calf is said to have caught "the angus", but pretty true. Need some ear in the cows, or some char. I'd think a brangus like cow crossed to char would make a good calf for sending north, only 3/16 brahman.
