The phosphorous mines in Florida have shovels like that.
Powered by electricity.
No tracks, they walk them on pads.
Can park a pickup truck in the shovel.
The control room is larger than most houses living rooms with a kitchen at the back of it.
You can not appreciate the size of those until you get next to them.
Now THAT'S big!
