South Central Iowa | I don't think we see a lot of movement out of corn before the report. I can see May dipping to $3.43'6 possibly, but I wouldn't of believed that was an attainable target two weeks ago. Corn has been beat up quite a bit and it isn't like it ever got carried away. Nearby May got all the way up to $3.87, how dare it! Haha.
Last week's open started out beautifully for corn with the gap up, but that turned ugly. It's in a low place, and should get all the usage it possibly can down here. But I don't see technically why anyone would want to be a buyer based on recent action. Just its general lowness though could be a catalyst. May's contract life low is $3.32'4, if harvest pressure couldn't break that, I really struggle to see how we will now. | |
