| That is scary. Our state just enacted a law that all rentals have to have a CO2 detector on every floor level.
I lived in an apartment a few years ago. It was older,probably built in 60's or so. It had so many problems and management was terrible. We did have a fire in our area pod from faulty wiring. Tenant got accused of everything in the book so they could say it was his fault and they could sue for damages. Hall way roof leaked so bad had a 5 gallon bucket out when it rained. garage leaked so bad it molded my car. Termites were eating so fast the vinyl siding was sinking. Furnace had small cold air return. Iron pipe drains leaking all over. But the worst was the fire doors wouldnt close
I guess I would have compassion on the moped fixer if he was mentally challenged with a very low IQ. But of course he might have also done this late at night under the influence,,,but late at night could have tragic consequenses | |
