Going through the 700 would be different. I have a cheat sheet for that also. You would need to move a couple of wires in your cable going to port B to make it into port C. The 700 will reconfigure port B every time the power is cycled! I recommend going to the diagnostic connector. You will get terrain compensated GPS going to that. You would not coming directly out of the 372.
