Mo | Damp or long stemmed hay sheers a lot of bolts on mine but mine is about 20 years old. I think your bale size adds too the problem for you. I grind with around 250 horses and have the electronic governor set to stop it turning at 1800 and set the engine as close to that as I can get it but still have it running when empty so when the load pulls on it it is more sensitive and will stop rather than sheer bolts all the time but sometimes it will still sheer a couple of bolts on a really tough bale. | |
