Michgan-Saginaw river basin | I had a retired equipment sales person call me a few weeks ago about a extra bulldozer he knew I was thinking about selling. I told him to pass my number along to the interested party if he wanted, and it ended with a sale for me. So I called him today and thought I was going to send him a few hundred bucks for his few phone calls. I was a bit surprised when he thought 10% of sales price (1250.00) IN CASH would be in order. If it matters, I have bought a few items from him the last few years before he retired. Without yelling at me and calling me cheap, can you people tell me if I'm just out of touch with sales rates??? |
