southern MN | Do you have the magic code numbers from Microsoft on the laptop somewhere? You could install the original opertaing system as a download and enter the number code and be good to go. Well, you would need the driver package from HP downloaded as well, but you need those either way?
I probably wouldn't pick W8 out of tge three available, but to each their own.
