| I own HEL Notilled land that is rented to corn/beans and sometimes wheat farmer. This year we had more than normal rainfall in Jan/Feb, therefore, what were small washouts are now deep and we have several new ones. Fixes will require grading (bulldozer), plant grass, and lay straw mats. Fields will go from few obstacles to many, plus the loss of farmable land. My question is at what point are washout normally fixed? Knowing this is a brief description and that every farm is different. | |
