I've raised Boxers for over twenty years and dogs have a sort of "TERRIBLE TWOS" just like your kids and grandkids. Believe it or not, it stops almost as fast as it started. I know it's a pain in the ass but he may turn out to be a great dog. If you wanted a pet that won't chew, goldfish are pretty easy on door jambs and chair legs.
