My FIL was the owner of a funeral home and when I asked him what he thought he instantly said cremation instead of a costly funeral and that is how he made a good living.
As for the spiritual side, as I understand it, nowhere in the bible explicitly condemns cremation. In Japan where it is sometimes illegal to bury the dead, 98% are cremated. | |
