Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | I'm paying $45 per/pair/month. The old standard here was $30 for long time, but I think anyone with good grass is higher than that now. Someone had an add out locally that they'd pay $50 per AUM, and wanted 100 pair or larger pastures.
You'll have to figure your stocking rate out to translate the price/acre, but the AUM rate is all that is used around here. Stocking rates vary to much, from pair/acre on good irrigated, to 50, 80, 100 acres to run a pair on dryland pasture. | |
