After going over all the new Canadian laws we have on drones and looking at insurance needed it seems our governments way of regulating this is piles of paperwork and regulation with a dash of insurance expense like this to finish the little guys. All that will be left is a few companies with $20k drones charging you $10/ac to map your fields for you.
What kind of maps are you getting for that? We've been charging $6 for sub inch elevation, photos & thermal with options for NDVI if requested. The NDVI requiring a tighter flight pattern than the LIDAR elevation data so it may tweak the pricepoint slightly. $10/ac seems rather high from what I've seen. |
