West of Broken Bow | Yep, it's very tasty. Some like it thick, some like it soupy.
Onions and garlic cooked in butter and olive oil. Then add two pounds ground meat. After that is browned, add tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes and chili seasonings. Then add beans if preferred. (I like beans. Cooked them ahead of time). Mix thoroughly then transfer to pot and add desired water or any other ingredients and allow to cook slowly.
We like adding cheddar cheese and Frito's when it's time to put in bowls. | |
