She lives in town with a water bill. We had one here once. Older technology but was very inefficient. Ran way to much waste water to septic. Hydric soil here could not handle it. Do you know the water waste to use ratio on new units?
Our RO water filters (ECO PURE) have a 4/1 ratio, 4 gallons of waste water to make 1 gallon RO water. When the RO tank is full, the waste water flow stops. Eco Pure says RO filter life is much increased if water goes through a softener before the RO system. The RO system also removes any salt that the softener may ad to the water.
