| Hi there. Just had a minute and took a couple pics of the hole I drilled to grease the hydro pump splined hub. I figured I'd post pics of how mine looks and the location and hopefully have a few key words in the title to make it easier to search for someone else if they need to.
These pics are on a navistar powered 1680, but the general idea should fit other models as well.
I used a standard metal cutting drill bit and I made it I think 1" or 1 1/16" I cant remember. I then pointed the grease zerk, which is on a 45, so that I have to turn the pulley just past the hole to get the grease gun on it. This way I can easily remove the gun tip as when using a new tip, they tend to be difficult to remove from the zerk without the ability to pull the tip to the side.
