Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I think the two biggest things were not ejecting a hard drive before moving it to another computer and not waiting long enough when it was attached to another computer. When plugging a large capacity external drive in when it hasn't been used with that computer takes quite a while to rebuild the directory etc. This was especially true with lots of songs, pictures and such and the low priced computer in the shop.
I think I have a pretty good handle on it now. I'm still not sure why the shop computer with its usual External Hard Drive seemed to pause quite a while in a song and then start back in where it stopped. This was the original problem that lead to all the exploration and confusion. Maybe it will still do this.
Maybe it is in the song recording itself. I should write down which songs they are and then purposely play them again for a test.
