I own a JD 4230 which I bot used 17 years ago. Although I have used it extensively, I never had the need to plow with it until now. I recently tried plowing with a 3-bottom JD plow but was unable to get any down pressure on it and so could not plow to the depth required. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong would be appreciated.
