Liberty, MO | The repair cost on these newer farm machinery engines. Us sto's cannot afford to even consider buying late model used equip because of the repair cost would sink our ship. $20,000 to $50,000 to repair or replace an engine is crazy. just the labor cost alone is terribly outta this world. Yes I own a couple of these newer engines, R 65 Gleaner with a CUMMINS and my 18 wheeler VED 12 Volvo in my truck. I've been told to expect $20,000 for an out of frame on my truck, and I shuddered at that price, hope it never needs major engine work. | |
