Subject: Help in picking out bred heifers

Western WY
I am going to buy about 5 bred heifers tomorrow to grow my little beef herd. They are Saler x Angus and Gelbvieh x Angus, bred to the same crosses of bulls. As I only have extensive experience with Holsteins and not much with beef breeds, what should I look at as I choose out the heifers I'll buy? Mainly looking for body characteristics, but also suggestions on questions to ask the owner would be great.

I have contacted my vet, who is also their vet, and my vet says they do a good job. I've contacted the guy who buys all their steers every year and grows them and he is very happy with what he gets from them.

Thanks!
