Subject: Callisto 101

Bartlett TX
Callisto has always been way to expensive for us to use down here in Texas, but now with generics available for such a cheap price, I'm considering using it in my tank mix over the top on corn. We have glyphosate resistant sunflowers and pigweed. Last few years I have been using a tank mix of 40 oz gly, qt of atrazine, 2.5 oz of status, and 1.5 oz of zidua. We also have problems with Texas panicum grass, which the zidua does a good job of preventing.
In an effort to keep from developing dicamba resistant pigweed, I would like to replace the status with a different mode of action for broadleaf weeds.
Local retailer warns me against using Callisto, warning of hurting the corn, turning it white etc. I can live with some cosmetic damage as long as yield isn't hurt and the weeds die.
I'd appreciate any info or opinions on my proposed tank mix and any experience you can share on Callisto or it's generic equivalents.
Thanks
