Sorry to say this, but something with that story is not right. That just doesn't happen. If a sensor was to blame the check engine light would be on in an instant. And multiple dealers are "refusing to even look at it"? Again, I feel like there is a part of the story we are missing. Or someone needs a calculator. Just saying.
