Great Plains is a fairly large ISP and in my experience tend to know what they are doing.  We need more information to provide you better information.  What is your exact location?  What package are you subscribing too?  What type of hardware (router/AP) are you using?  Is that hardware provided by GP or is it yours?  What operating system(s) are you using at home?  Is your service DSL or Fiber based?

I generally find that service related issues do not originate from the home office.  They serve many customers and can't have problems there.  It could be bad cabling/wiring between the home office and your house.  It could be a failing router.  It could be a DNS issue. When you have an issue and it takes a while to connect does everything work good after that?
