Rectorseal is what we use. Ever since they redid our NH3 system we have wrapped with teflon tape before using the rectorseal as that's what they did on every fitting.


Since I started doing this I have not had anything leak on me.

I put a couple wraps of white teflon tape on and then a light coating of thread sealant. I have used different types of sealants successfully.
