Subject: RE: EZ Guide 250 Ground pin #8 question

I have an EZ Guide 250 supplying radar to a Computer Trak 250 monitor with pins 9 and 8. I want to add an implement switch for coverage logging and says to hook it up to pins 4 and 8. Can 9 and 4 both ground to 8? Thanks in advance.

Yes, that would be correct. I've made various cables where the ground pin is needed more than once. Basically the implement switch needs to be grounded or not to signal the mapping. The radar output to the Computer Trak needs a signal and ground as well so that pin is used more than once.

Some menu settings may need to be changed to get both to work. The simulated radar out is apparently set correctly already. I forget what the situation is for the implement switch. It may have a menu item to setup as well.
