SE Iowa | Good idea, SMS would probably be the easiest way to do this. But the combine would only pass over the field in 20-45 foot intervals based on header size, so there may be a difference in elevation. But if you spot check the center of the elevation data from the combine, as well as the elevation data from the drone, that would be useful!
It would also be interesting to look at the difference of elevation data from drone to lidar data that the State DNR produces | |
