I did a little research over the weekend. The if this is not correct, please let me know.

Mexico corn imports

13800 x 1000 metric tons. 39.368 bushels per metric ton

Kansas produces 580,160 x 1000 bushels.

Kansas produces 580,160,000 bushels.

Mexico imported 543,278,400 bushels. That's the 2016 import and the most in Mexico's history. Their historical import is closer to 271 million bushels.

Historical data from the USDA.

13,600,000 x 1000

13,871,639,200 bushels in the USA.

Mexico imported roughly 3.9% of 2016 corn.

Basically a drop in the bucket.
