I know with the butterfly valve response time isn't always the best and if i go with the pwm valve where it shut off when the master switch is off instead of having a bypass line to keep the pump cool i could get better performance. I put in a cast iron impeller and silicon carbine seal kid for the thickness.


I don't have experience with the rates and products you describe. If you have the system set to shut off the pump whenever the master switch is off, I would think there would be some delay in getting the pump back up to speed and pumping the proper amount. Maybe this would not be a problem.
