| I thought the same thing on using the phone GPS until I read into it. When you run the ntrip app it is just feeding the corrections into the fmx that are simulated by fcors. Since the corrections won't change much over the few feet of difference between you fmx antenna and the phone position, you won't see any difference in accuracy by using the fmxs position. It also allows you to leave the phone up running even if you shut down the fmx and will allow it to pop right into rtk when you restart. | |
