Easy way, put it in the crockpot frozen with dry onion soup mix sprinkled on top. Medium heat. It will literally fall apart. Another question, is this corn fed beef or grass fed. Iv'e found corn fed is easier to cook. (has more marbleing ?) I've bought roasts from our local grocery store when I'm out of my freezer beef. They have NEVER turned out well, tougher, not much flavor. But if you have a Fareway store near you, their beef is excellent and their butcher staff can give you good tips on cooking too!

Exact way my wife makes them and they turn out great +1 on onion soup mix. Just cover with water and turn once or twice. Add the veggies later.
