I've never set one up using solar but Tycon makes excellent solar power supplies specifically for the purpose of remote wifi and camera installations.  If I were doing it I'd use a Ubiquiti NanoStation M2 or M5 and a Ubiquiti Unifi Gen3 camera powered off the POE out port on the Nanostation.  At 1,000 feet you should be able to get the NanoStation to connect to your existing wifi coming off your house but if you couldn't you would need to set up a NanoStation at the house as an access point.
