| Anyone have a reasonable suggestion to monitor each row for liquid fertilizer. I put on about 15 gal of 28%N - 2X2 with planter and have had a few issues with a row or two getting light/no fertilizer. Currently I just run two pressure gauges to cab (right side/left side) to make sure each side is working (12 row planter). Planter has factory starter set up with 3 tanks on each side run thru John Blue pump then thru plastic pipe that runs to each row unit (where comes off plastic pipe has no-drip diaphragm and screen) then down to each coulter with a jet stream nozzle out back. I don't really want to re-plumb (mainly put something in-line to check flow of each row). I mainly want to make sure each row is getting close to the full rate since this is part of my N source. I priced a nice in cab monitor and flow meters from AgExpress, but a little pricey for my small operation. Thanks in advance for advice. | |
