Subject: Harriston bean knife experts

What is involved in switching 22 inch row spacing to a 30 inch ? Now the 22 inch has 1 parallel linkage bracket for 2 rows. Do I need 1 parallel linkage bracket for each 30 inch row ? If I use the 22 inch linkage and angle the cutting knifes more, They cut at outer ends of the bean knifes will this work. Now on 22 inch setting the beans are cut closer to front point. Operators manual is of no help. Does a guy have to rod them after knifeing ? I always thought knife them and that's it. Guy selling the bean knife says I should rod them after knifeing to get the few escapes.. Thanks for the advise. [email protected].
