Globalization and open trade of goods and services, by its very nature results in member countries to become "averaged". Rich countries are dragged down, poor countries rise up. Its kinda like mixing white and black paint - stir it long enough and it becomes gray. The rich get less rich, the poor get less poor. Stop globalization and build walls - and we return to the rich get richer and poor get poorer.
The problem comes from the paint stuck to the lid of the can that never gets mixed. The ones that get super rich and super powerful off the backs of the people mixed to grey. When everyone is at the same level there is no innovation, progress, or desire to make a quality product. |
