Thru Nov 2016 we exported about $2.4 & 1.3 billion worth of corn & soybeans respectively to Mexico, tariff free. You can bet if we put a tariffs on Mexican imports, they'll put tariffs on our exports to them. At some point it'll be cheaper for Mexico to import the corn & soybeans they need from Brazil.
