I don't think that's NAT approved... sounds like a bad trade waiting to happen? Good luck if you do. Reownership is usually done immediately so the market doesn't move away from the transaction. Like an elevator. They go broke doing what your talking about. Honestly I could see corn jumping up 10 cents then slamming lower the next day. That's the type of crap the market would pull on me if I was doing that! My 2 cents
Oh...Idk, Fry. If a guy is going to reown by using futures, you may be correct. But if someone rewarded a strong basis with a physical sale (remember the storage clock is also ticking away) and was looking at buying some calls, why not give it a little time and see what happens. It becomes a spec play then, imo. Buy low-sell high. Kinda depends on how the old corn was put into commercial storage. |
